autistic adult masking

As a late-diagnosed autistic woman myself, I understand firsthand how often adults—especially women and high-masking individuals—are overlooked in traditional autism assessments. That is because most assessments are based on finding “deficits” rather than focusing on how the person experiences the world and has strengths that elude the attention of many neurotypicals (even those professionally trained in autism). I bring a different lens to interpretation of those in-depth evaluations. Then, together, we use those results to help you thrive at work, communicate with neurotypicals, and connect more confidently in daily life.

The Evaluation Process

I conduct a multi-layered evaluation that explores your communication style, history, and daily experiences. At the end, I provide documentation and a detailed recommendation you can share with your primary care physician and/or psychologist. This ensures an inter-professional approach so your needs are recognized and supported within the healthcare system. The evaluation report can also be used to request school or workplace accommodations.

Insurance & Costs

I accept insurance for evaluations and therapy services. Each plan is different, so coverage must be verified in advance, and some out-of-pocket cost may apply. These will all be laid out for you before scheduling.

Ongoing Therapy & Support

Diagnosis is often just the beginning. At GromKo. Voice, we offer:

  • Individual therapy tailored to your communication and workplace goals. This is what non-clinical executive functioning coaches provide, except it is covered by insurance.

  • Group therapy (coming soon) for practicing real-world skills in a supportive, affirming environment.

Together, we focus on:

  • Building strategies for daily communication.

  • Preparing for job interviews and supporting long-term employment success.

  • Enhancing self-advocacy and confidence in personal and professional relationships.

My goal is not just to help you “get by,” but to help you thrive—by combining clinical expertise with the perspective of someone who has walked this path herself. At GromKo. Voice, you’ll find care that is identity-affirming, practical, and deeply personal.
